Jeep® is Partner of Quiksilver’s Roxy Pro 2013

This summer, Jeep® renews its tie with the world of surfing and rides the wave of one of the biggest events in the world dedicated to female surfing: the brand is Sponsor of the Roxy Pro 2013 women's shortboarding world surfing Championship, that will take place in Biarritz, France, from July 10th to July 14th.

17 internationally renowned female surfers will contest in the only European leg of the ASP Women's World Tour, the elite women's shortboarding circuit now to take place on French waters. The Roxy Pro is not only a surfing contest but also a true celebration of surf culture and will offer to surf enthusiasts a 4-days full program of entertainment including exclusive free concerts and events.

The all-new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition will be at the side of the athletes participating in the contest, exposed in a special Jeep area. Known as the more capable model in the Jeep lineup, the new limited-edition Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary will arrive in Jeep showrooms in Europe during the third quarter of this year. In addition, a fleet of Jeep vehicles will be at disposal of the athletes and the organisation during the entire duration of the event.

The participation to the Roxy Pro 2013 is a further step in Jeep's partnership with Quiksilver, the leading supplier of surfing apparel and equipment. Initiated with the Jeep Onboard project of last March, the collaboration between the two brands is based on the sharing of values and on the common commitment to promote passion for surfing and extreme sports.

Surfing is a physical representation of Jeep's values and embodies the spirit of freedom of each single model in its lineup. Experiencing a total sense of communion with nature and its forces, challenging the waves and the wind, with a desire to push your own limits: this is the fascination of surfing that is more than a dynamic sport, as it becomes a lifestyle. Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition

Created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Rubicon trim level - the most capable model in the Wrangler lineup and the most capable off-road production vehicle in its category ever - the new limited-production Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition will be available as a two-door Wrangler or four-door Wrangler Unlimited, both powered by petrol and diesel powertrains.

The exteriors of the new limited-edition model feature unique styling cues that deliver to the iconic Jeep Wrangler an exclusive look, including all-new dual-intake Power Dome hood, Mopar® rock rails and 17-inch Rubicon aluminum wheels painted satin black with polished faces and red Jeep Wrangler logo on the outside lip. The interiors offer exclusive Red, leather seats with Rubicon 10th Anniversary logo embroidered into the front seat backs. Red stitching adorns the central console and the leather steering wheel.

The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary special-edition model will be introduced in Europe during the third quarter of 2013.
