Jeep® brand triumphs at 4x4 Magazine’s 2017 awards
• For the second year in a row, Jeep® Renegade is ‘4x4 of the Year’ according to the off-road specialist UK magazine • In the same awards, the Renegade also ranked first in the ‘Mid-Range SUV’ category, the legendary Jeep Wrangler took the ‘Hardcore’ class for the fifth consecutive year, and the Jeep Cherokee won the ‘Top-Range SUV’ group

The small SUV Jeep Renegade was named '4x4 of the Year 2017' by UK's 4x4 Magazine, retaining the crown for the second year in a row. Indeed, one of the world's most renowned 4x4 specialist publications confirmed the winning features of the small SUV which is topping the brand's sales in Europe and continues to scoop numerous awards worldwide.
In this latest recognition by 4x4 Magazine, the off-road driving publication's panel of expert judges was unable to find a contender capable of taking away the Jeep Renegade's '4x4 of the Year' crown gained last year. A Trailhawk, the range-topping version in terms of performance and off-road characterization, was put through its paces and, besides delivering excellent on-road driving features, it outshone all rivals on 4x4 Magazine's tough off-road evaluation course.
Furthermore, in the same awards, 4x4 Magazine named the Jeep Renegade winner of the 'Mid-Range SUV' category, the legendary Jeep Wrangler took the 'Hardcore' class for the fifth consecutive year, and the Jeep Cherokee gained the first placing in the 'Top-Range SUV' group.
Produced in Italy and sold in over 100 countries worldwide, Jeep Renegade is the model that more than others significantly contributes to the extraordinary success of the Jeep brand in the EMEA Region. Since its launch, two years ago, it the small Jeep SUV climbed the sales charts in many European countries, including Italy (the first market), the UK, France, Germany and Spain, reasserting itself as the most versatile SUV ever with three traction systems, four different transmission types, four diesel and petrol engines delivering power from 95 to 170 hp, five trim levels and four highly successful special series in 2016: Night Eagle, Dawn of Justice, 75th Anniversary and the new Desert Hawk.
