Jeep® Brand at the ‘Milano Design Week 2017’

From April 4 to 9, designers from all over the world will converge in Milan for the events of the Fuori Salone and the 56th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile. During these days, the Jeep brand will showcase the Jeep Compass - the brand's new compact SUV with a contemporary and authentic Jeep design, true to the tradition.

The new Jeep Compass - a key addition to the Jeep portfolio in Europe - will be showcased on April 6, during the exclusive event in the Tortona 15 show area. The model on display will offer to the visitors the chance to discover the features of the new Jeep compact SUV which offers a perfect blend of character, design, technology and capability, in a complete package including several standard features and financial solutions.

The Jeep Compass will be on display in the Tortona 15 show area for the entire duration of the show, providing visitors an opportunity to discover it and to take a closer look at its Jeep authentic design. As all the Jeep SUVs, the new model features signature design cues that make it clearly recognizable as a Jeep and that communicate the vehicle's off-road capability, functionality and on-road driving dynamics. The key design elements in a Jeep model include the 7-slot grille, the iconic 'face' of every Jeep, recognizable across the entire line-up; The trapezoidal wheel arches, to tackle off-road trails and climb over rocks and most extreme obstacles; A vertical windshield, to ensure a distinctive character to each vehicle; Short overhangs to promote capable approach and departure angles; A strong body side theme to guarantee the sense of security to handle any journey with confidence; and distinctive front and rear lighting signatures to bring forward the peculiar mood of each vehicle.

Similarly, the interior also features distinctive elements that define a Jeep vehicle. These include a functional layout and storage for various items suited for active lifestyles, a strong center stack design theme, crisp lines providing sculptural shapes to the connecting surfaces, and color palettes inspired from many different locations around the globe.

Visitors of the Fuori Salone 2017 will be among the first in Italy to discover the new Jeep Compass and its authentic Jeep design cues, before its arrival in European dealerships this summer.
